Its weird to me how religious people give god credit for healing the things he inflicts upon people

Rain made my garden grow. I love the sound of rain when I'm sleeping. I even like the feeling of rain on my face. I like a nice rainy day (if I have no where to go)

One time, the rain flooded my house and destroyed all the stuff my basement.

I still love and appreciate the rain even if I don't like everything it does.

Yes but you cannot compare rain to cancer that takes a loved ones life.

Or Hunter Biden being in the presence of minors.

Questioning God's authority and antics is logical.

But I did pray for Trump and I am not religious.

You're thinking of God like he's the wizard of Oz, behind the curtain pulling all sorts of strings and levers.

You're applying linear algebra to a curved line.

In my analogy, God is a force of nature. You can study rain but you can't attribute the behavior of the rain to its "logic". The rain is not operating on logic. It's a lot more complex than that. That's why they use supercomputers for meteorology (and still have to guess).

I used to think like you. I'm still a person in STEM. But I love the rain. 🌧️☔ You can love the rain too. No need to bash your head against the wall questioning the "rain's logic".
