When I was marching to the Capitol I had this eerie feeling of uncertainty. I was talking to those around me about what would happen if Pence doesn't side with Trump? Everyone I talked didn't know or just shrugged.
And then I remembered about the possibility of agent provocateurs in the crowd but I dismissed it as not likely just because of the positivity of the crowd and the sheer numbers. It didn't occur to me that people had already rushed to the Capitol in front and were already making their plans
Same. I had a weird feeling. I saw those commando-style guys w walkies, camo, MAGA hats, and gas masks. I thought they were LARPing vets but now... I should’ve taken photos and recorded their walkie convos. I hope some Patriot did.
I got one. He was swinging when we tried to take his pic.
His bag fell and in it contained: walkie talkie with ear monitor, gas mask, and kevlar sleeves.
Oh, and a bag of sunflower seeds.

I've said this in a few threads but I think it bears repeating: I saw and verbally confronted provocateurs just outside the Capitol grounds on the 6th. One group had a megaphone, the other had a portable PA system on a sort of cart.
Two different women, as well as a man dressed like Uncle Sam and a guy in a Darth Vader mask, were calling on people to go into the Capitol.
They were in black (except for the Uncle Sam guy) and refused to answer when asked who they were and why they were telling people to act contrary to Trump's wishes. They turned up loud music on their little PA system to drown me out.
There were the guy’s in black that climbed the lookout tower and were commanding people to “Move forward, patriots! Fill in the gaps! They can’t arrest us all!” They were already in place when we got to the Capitol building. Seemed shady af.
I was outside the security area and there were a lot of people leaving at the start of Trump's speech.very weird! Gave me such an eerie feeling that I skipped the march altogether. I was skeezed out!
Same here. We left the rally early so we were near the front of the march. As we got closer to the building the people were looking weirder & weirder. Completely different vibe from the rally and regular Trump supporters in the march.
