Overreacting to the point of self destruction is their specialty. Their hubris causes them to ruin everything they touch. I think we're in for a couple years of an authoritarian shit show followed by an abrupt swing of the pendulum back in the other direction. We are strong enough to weather this storm.

They have serious problems. They don't have near enough votes to end the filibuster and there's serious economic troubles brewing. The blame will fall squarely on their shoulders. Imagine the 2000 tech bubble, with the 2008 housing bubble, with trillions in fed notes coming due hitting the market, and the Federal Reserve out of ammunition happening at the same time. I'm not a gold bug, but I'd GTFO of any variable rate debt you might have.

Not really. I think similar things were said during the Kavanaugh hearings...and here we are.

Isn't Matt Damon in the Film Actors Guild?

No, they really haven't. The only thing that will stop these thugs is violence and people need to be literally starving to death in order to be brought to it.
