First, that's our capital building not theirs. People have paid back breaking taxes into the system for their entire life. I find it outrageous that these people are being treated like criminals, when they are the ones who have been robbed and betrayed.
Second, it is not a sacred institution. While the USA is one of the better governments on the planet, sacredness rests inside the free people who live in this country, not within it's symbols and institutional entities.
Third, that building is filled with criminals and scum. It's precisely because humans have that basic primary instinct for justice that they acted the way they did. If I defend my home from a criminal, you do not have the right to call me violent, any more than we have the right to call them violent.
Fourth, the damage was rather minimal all things considered. There was some collateral damage, that is being greatly over exaggerated with many details being held back, and whatever did happen is a case of one or two bad apples, nothing more.
I understand his reasoning, but find it frustrating how the left stands behind their own no matter what, but the right gets thrown to the wolves first time it looks bad.
