The Deep State is a bunch of crazy psychopaths. They have measures in place to keep anyone from going after them by keeping citizens of the country hostage (anything from bombs on bridges, to kill switches on power grids, to downing airplanes). If the military starts going to targets, then it's possible some of these fail-safes will be implemented by the [DS].
Let me give you my 2 cents on this. If anything too big ever gets leaked, they are going to fully shut down everything, maybe call it some emp, so that they have some time to fully scrub it from existence.

I want to agree. But my government is ridiculously dysfunctional, they are sloppy as fuck and they don't even seem to care
