This has been my recommendation from before the election in the event Trump doesn't stay in office. Recognizing Taiwan absolutely fucks Biden, becausr he can't unrecognize them and so Xi will release the goods on Biden as payback or invade and force Biden to do nothing, which will probably destroy his presidency and America's standing in the world.
