Personally, I think Trump is disappointed with us. He worked hard, against all odds, he fought the crooked Washington system everyday to help improve our lives. He tried to instill that fighting spirit in Republican politicians and voters like us.

He exposed the MSM, deep state, three letter agencies. He exposed the corrupt Judicial system and the DoJ. He exposed spying on US citizens and much more.

With the whole world aligned against him, he led us to the very steps of the US Capitol Building and inspired us to voice our concerns. Once the building was breeched, we should have struck hard and taken back the power to govern.

Instead, we turned around and walked out. Our fore father's would be ashamed. Now we lost the greatest political advantage that they provided for us in the Declaration, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. And, we did it all so we could maintain the moral high ground against an enemy that cares nothing for morals or any of the ideals codified in those documents. They care only about power.

Now, communists wield the awesome power of the US government and they will strike hard and fast against all opposition. If we are to have any hope of survival, we must organize locally, now.

I suspect there will be a flash point moment in the future, maybe like the Clive Bundy stand off. Only this time it will not end peacefully and that will be the start of a Civil War.

The ideas and ideals of the opposing sides are too far apart and cannot exist together in one nation. So, get ready, now!

You're right, maybe I have lost faith in the past but I have not lost faith in the future.

Free and fair elections are too fundamental to the entire system of government. Now that we no longer have the ability to elect our leaders, we are in a post constitutional era. Maybe something better will come out of the upcoming struggle but it will never be the USA, as we knew it, again.

Maybe it will once again become that shining city on a hill and a beacon of hope for all mankind but it is definitely not that right now.

I believe free thinking people should continue to fight but they should be clear about what they are fighting for. I don't believe they should be fighting to simply restore the existing system. That system and its corrupt administration is what got us here in the first place. Significant changes will need to be made to our system of laws and governance to ensure that the people can never be trampled on, like this, again.

Trump ordered everyone to leave. He said "go home" and everyone left. People on here who were actually inside also confirmed this, someone said they all planned to occupy it for days but left when Trump said go home.

Honestly, Trump is just as much to blame in that regard for telling everyone to come on the 6th, then tell them to go home, condemn and throw his own supporters under the bus, call them "heinous", and call for unity and healing.

But I also agree the blame also lies on us. We spent 4 years "trusting the plan" believing that Trump or some secret force within the government would be able to purge their deep state themselves and that we didn't have to organize or do anything.

Also Trump and our side keeps saying we shouldn't organize or protest. I disagree. Now is when we should be the loudest.

It's the repub party leaders. Kemp, Ruffyberger, etc who screwed us (including Trump). Thousands showed up to poll watch in GA and seemed like to me repub leaders weren't around to force them in the door.
