They're saying it was planned on social media which is also going to turn out to not be true.
People spoke about it online. People speak about it to each other in the street.
The truth is and this is something they cannot understand is that a lot of people simply had the same idea.
The media comprehends this the least. They think that every single idea is unique and that ideas only get installed in people's head when they're broadcasting.
They can't conceive that people might think alike without this method of broadcasting.
Related though even simpler. Most people tend to behave more or less the same or within a limited range of behaviours given the same circumstances.
I go to the dog sanctuary. If I put my hand in the cage either it is ignored, licked or bitten.
If you go up to a stranger and slap them you tend to have a fixed range of behaviours. They get angry at you and shout you down, they fight you back, they call the police, they run away, they call for help, etc.
If you leave your bike unattended one in a hundred people will steal it on seeing the opportunity.
The capitol hill is the same situation. People keep getting abused, they have had enough and then when the opportunity presents boom. Especially if there's a few instigators, a bit of chaos, etc.
It's just the commonality of man. Most people tend to work roughly the same way with moderately different thresholds between a range of possible behaviours.
The left wing media often fail to realise this. If they post an article and a bunch of people are saying it's a lie they'll take out the first one thinking that's the only thing that inspired the rest failing to realise that people just all see it the same way and figured out the same.
People also make the same mistakes just as much, will commonly fall for the same trick. It's sometimes hard to tell something that's a collective response from coordinated.
Left wing media comes off like the lesson they took from Gawker was 'holy shit! ratings! people hate this! they're clicking away!'
Now they walk around slapping everyone in public giving them the Gawker treatment. Filming the response for ratings, "c'mon! fight! going to make so many clicks!"
Obligatory fuck Sam Biddle. Intercept became Gawker in reputation when they brought him on. There is no "its time for healing", Sam. The reputation of a slimy journalist lasts.
Social media is the news media's biggest competition so this is just a case of anti-competition.
They're always trying to spin a narrative to be able to impose their editorial code and have the exclusive right to disseminate information be it true or false.
They say it was planned on social media when what they mean is that it was talked about before hand on social media. I don't even have to bother reading the articles anymore to know what they're really going to say or are talking about.
If you can stomach all the hints, insinuations, and my favorite "unverified accusations". I'm thinking Zucker is just positioning the propaganda machine to get ahead of a narrative change.
