bro WA pede here ... crazy windstorm last night lost power... could see flashes of light from the boxes on the electrical poles.. almost half a million without power.

That was the wind. It was crazy last night.
That truly was a coincidence. I know I’ve got power, but many still don’t. But it was just a coincidence, and I believe it has nothing to do with FEMA’s nationwide power outage warning this afternoon.
Take this opportunity to stock up, because one night soon, overnight, the power will go down again. Across the country. And likely won’t be back on for days.
And it will be a very. very. very. good. thing.

It was insane rain and wind last night. Transformer blew down the street, power was out all night. I spent 20 minutes cleaning up all my recycling out of the neighbors driveway because the wind knocked my bin over.
