I believe that Gabe guy lied and said that it actually wasnt a pipe burst at night. Only a small leak. No one was told to go home, and everyone just picked up and left. And four people stayed to continue counting.
There are clear reports all over the news like this video of the vote clearly being stopped for the night. Everyone being told to leave. And then the vote count continuing.
Not only that but the leak happened earlier that morning before they started counting. It apparently was fixed in two hours. They clearly used that as an excuse to get people to leave so they could count certain ballots.

The building owner confirmed it was an overflowing toilet. Probably from trying to flush Trump ballots.
No explanation for why five states stopped counting at the same time.
