They gave CNN the green light to announce the Jan 6th capitol building stuff was something planned, not something caused by Trump's speech.

They got 10 house dems to jump offsides, and GOP Senators to vocalize support for impeachment.

They pushed it until the GOPe started to learn we the people were screaming for their heads, and as soon as they started to try and put the breaks on impeachment, they drop this.

Dems can shrug and say "oh, well" - but the GOPe?

Their political careers in the GOP are OVER, FOREVER.

They effectively neutered GOP leadership right before they're supposed to take control of Congress and WH.
