Secession is possible without firing a shot. What you're advocating won't bring the public onboard. If there's going to be a war, make them fire the first shot. If we attempt to secede, and they come after us, that's our opportunity to bring the fight to them and take everything back. Either way, we get to rewrite the rules so they can't pull their crap anymore.
