A have a few very good friends that are liberal and live in the Portland, OR area and I was astonished at how blind to conservative persecution they were. I didn't cut off all communication, but certainly stopped making an effort as they are truly lost until this actually hits home to them. They don't hate conservatives (obviously as I'm one) but they remain willfully blind to facts. Just disappointing
