I don't know about you but I moderate myself willingly. So does everyone else. It's a choice often made for little gain. Likewise, nobody forced people not to get involved in PTAs, education boards elections, etc. We abandoned those fields willingly. People don't have the time or the inclination to get involved in those things and I can assure you nobody is forcing people to stay home and not have a say in who their children's administrator is. People do that all on their own.

And being involved in school as a parent has been ridiculed in media for a while.
