There is no trial to occur before the 20th. I think that snake Mitch knows the real reason why there are 20,000 Troops on the Capital.
That would be a really unwise tactic. Evidence can be excluded. Their whole case would fall apart in 30 seconds.
Around 4% of the total republicans went on the record supporting impeachment. I think those 4% really just hate Trump. If this actually goes to a Senate trial it could get interesting like you said.
