It's not enough to prove they aren't antifa, but it's enough for us not to outright "own it" like you're saying. Like recognizes like. Trump supporters have been overwhelmingly peaceful and we recognize a bit of ourselves in each other's personality. This could turn out to be very fringe supporters, but they don't represent this movement as a whole.
Because the goal of the Trump supporters was NEVER to cause destruction or be violent---Trump didn't call for that, zero leaders of pro-Trump groups called for it, and no Trump supporter sites called for it. That would NOT have been the go-to modus operandum sought out by our side, learn to discern. You won't find ANY of them advocating those tactics...
