Why would Daddy put 20,000 troops in DC for a virtual inauguration?

Trump supporters are actively calling to both boycott online and in person but we need 20,000 troops, baracades, fences, and those big cement dividers?

Seems like a waste of money, and we all know daddy doesn't like to waste money.
