South African here - would love to join you in Texas - are you considering a points based system of immigration? Please say yes?

Wouldn't that mean that, assuming elections aren't rigged, all future presidencies go to the Kleptocrats?

God bless Texas!

Well the sad part is that legislation lays out a plan that will take a bare minimumof 2 years to come to the point for Texas to decide. 🚂🚋🚋🚋🚋

Unfortunately, Abraham Lincoln put the nail in the coffin of secession via the Civil War.

I'm a Texan. I want to know what I can do to make this happen. Does anyone know if there is a petition or anything???

2
Easter_Bunny 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes sir, fellow bunny; https://kylebiedermann.com/support-referendum-for-texas-independence-sign-the-petition-now/

You need a Texas zip code, sounds like you've got that covered.

Texas needs to succeed and then immediately go after Austin and take that back. Then finish securing the border wall between Mexico and insure our voting here is real. I don’t want to but if nobody else wants to, I’ll be running against Dan Crenshaw. I’d rather not. I don’t live anywhere near his area. Someone else run because I’d hate to move. I’ll back you. Im just a nobody that works in oil and gas. Is anyone that works in that a nobody? I make my living that way. I was doing it up north for years. Providing natural gas lines where they never had any. Using heating oil before I got there. Liberals hate me anyway. Like a solar panel will heat a home in WY or PA. What we do in Texas is important. It keeps America Energy independent. We don’t need other countries to pay off our politicians. We don’t need need wars that aren’t really for oil. But to stop the flow of oil so ours is worth more. We have the oil. We can extract it better and more efficiently now. Without slave labor and we do it cleanly. We are the worlds cleanest and most efficient oil producer and we also have the most now. You can cry and want solar and wind or Tesla’s or some other electric car all around. Lotta plastic in all that. Guess what plastics are made of? It ain’t unicorn farts. It’s oil. So is all the rubber on every wire on every electric device. You can’t rid the world of oil. You can’t build solar or wind without it. Those 2 together can’t power us. You need natural gas if you don’t want coal. Lucky for you that natural gas is a byproduct of drilling for oil so you get a 2 for 1.

I hope it happens but it probably won't.

If it does, I'm moving there

I live right close to Fredericksburg, it's a nice German town and where most of the wine is in Texas. Texas wine country; realistically we don't do wine very well but give 'em some credit for trying.

Hill Country is the nicest part of Texas (my opinion, yours might be wrong though). They say more people come here from all across the country to get hitched than anywhere else... and Fredericksburg is the destination location for Hill Country. It's Hill Country's jewel.

They're a little liberal over there though, damn near 25% of the county voted Democrat. We're gone have to do something about that.

Anyway, you make your way out don't forget to stop by Luckenbach and see some good local music. Don't forget to say howdy to Rusty the rooster, he's real friendly.
