You're half right. This isn't about the D or R after their names, it's a populist movement versus the establishment. The R's glomed onto trump when they realized he could be used, then dropped him like a bad habit when they thought they could be rid of him. This is 98% of DC. No man one man is going to fix it, and the people with power aren't going to vote for their power to be taken away. Now, they will "fix things" because they know they pick the candidate next time, so we are back to voting Obama or McCain and pretending we have a choice, and that they aren't the same thing.
