I left the speech early too, and by the time I got to the capitol, there were already tons of people there. I was fairly close to the front, and nobody around me even knew anyone had gone in the building until 4 or so, way after it had happened. We saw all the people on the media tower and the scaffolds and all that, but that just looked like rowdy protest stuff, and the capitol police were still up there, they'd just formed a different perimeter.

None of us had any idea of what was going on inside. We were there to show support for Trump, for following the constitution, and to let Congress know we were not going to sit down quietly and allow them to silence our voices. I knew this would be spun some way or another. Didn't think it would be this bad though. They've really landed a psyop haymaker on us here. There's no doubt.
