But as recently as 2018 I watched the same thing play out in Louisiana's gubernatorial race. Rispone was leading all night, then, with all other parishes reporting in at 100%, in Jefferson parish, all of a sudden here come 60k votes for Edwards, putting him in the lead. This has been going on for DECADES. But everyone has been asleep.
