the question is malformed friend. you asked essentially “why would he let china win, if he isn’t going to let china win?”
the question is either “why would he actually let his enemies win?” or “why would he let his enemies falsely believe they’ve won?”
the follow-up question is “would he really let us believe the commies have won—causing huge anxiety to his supporters—if our appearance of defeat was necessary to trick them?”. the answer is, “yes, if he’s a good leader”.
your question, i don’t mean to mock, is kind of like...
if the greeks really had a plan, why not try to get the trojans to open the gates and take in a suspicious horse before convincing them that it’s safe, because they falsely believe all the greek soldiers have sailed back home?
it doesn’t work if it’s not convincing, it doesn’t work unless it appears to be the last minute or “over”, and it damn sure doesn’t work if the greeks are bragging about their plan to do it.
if it happens, it can only come after all the necessary preamble. if it happens, it’s ability to work necessitates our “leaders” saying it’s wishful thinking and larping.
our “leaders” saying “there is no plan” is not evidence that a plan secretly exists, it may in fact not exist. but if there is a plan, they must absolutely MUST pretend there is not. and we, lacking the ability to know for sure, just have to wait and see if our faith paid off or not.
manage your expectations; hopium and blackpills are both bad for your health. but trust the man you put your faith in, for as long as he still holds the reigns.
