I live and work in the heart of commiefornication, but I've been surprised by the Californians I've spoke with about why they left. They by and large say "Don't worry, I'm not here to change Texas to that which I left". It's not always the case, but just know there is a very large chunk of people moving here because they hate what they've done to a state as beautiful as Cali.
Yes, but the majority vote for what they left like locusts. I have a Leftist acquaintance who moved to Texas because the economic opportunity was better and has been complaining about conservatives and voting Leftist ever since. Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of people like that.
I know 5 people who moved here (Texas) from California and they are all based. They are running from terrible Dem policies and bringing their businesses with them. I'll take as many of those as I can.
