Look, I want this to be true. I do, I really do. But I can't believe what I want to believe, I have to believe that which I see evidence of.
Like, I'm a Christian. I've been accused of believing that because I want it to be true, I want a paradise when I die. This is not true. I'd actually rather have oblivion. I would much rather be free to do whatever I want, take what I want, hurt who I believe needs punishment, and when it's all over I just stop existing. That's what I want.
But that doesn't jibe with the nature of reality, to me. There are too many, far too many holes in the "No-God" explanations of everything. "All the matter was in one infinitesimal point!" "Where'd it come from?" "I don't know, just roll with it! But it was all in one infinitesimal point!" "But no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time." "Just roll with it! Anyway, all that starts spinning!" "HOW??? An Object at Rest stays at Rest unless acted upon by an OUTSIDE FORCE." "JUST ROLL WITH IT!!!!" On and on it goes. So at the very least, there has to be some Outside Force that allowed for the very laws of nature that all this stuff obeys. And once I asked Jesus to kill a man, and he died. Like, immediately. To me, that seals the deal, I'm on Team Christ FOREVER now.
Right now, the evidence we have would allow for this, sure, but it doesn't prove this. It would also allow for Complete Deep State Globalist Communist Victory. Schrodinger's Box is still closed. That Cat might be alive, it might be dead, it might be a Patriot Frog, it might be a Pooh Bear. I don't know.
That said, I do agree that we all need to do the Smart Thing. Which is to stay alive for now, and then do what we can do coming up.

But as far as the NATION goes, it's not Jesus' job to solve all our problems. He gave us Donald Trump ONCE and we kinda crapped the bed and went "Oh boy, it's break time!" If we are blessed enough to have another chance? GET INVOLVED. Every SINGLE ONE OF US. Work as Poll Watchers, run for Local Office, stand outside and film the plates and faces of every single person who goes into a polling place after deadlines. We need to be the force that keeps the Republic Free.
Because we live in the Panopticon. Totalitarian States fall faster when their villainy is seen everywhere, and even in a worst case scenario, we live in a day and age when everyone everywhere has a camera and a screen. And unless they plan on taking away the very gadgets that make people docile, we will be able to reach people.
