Sounds like a bullshit charge. I am not aware if any evidence that Snyder knew that the city officials didn’t properly treat the water. The EPA heads who knew about the issue for months and tried to silence the whistleblowers (we have receipts) should be going to jail.

From what I have read, when the switch the water, the local water treatment people used the wrong chemicals which caused the pipes to corrode and the water to be nit properly treated. Complaints went to the MPD and EPA, but locals fudged the test numbers.
The EPA became aware of the issue two months before ever warning the public, but when whistleblowers came forward, the EPA tried to stifle them.
With Snyder it’s what did he know and when did he know it, but with all of the covering up at local, state and federal levels, I don’t know that he knew anything.
You are correct and it’s obvious you’ve done some due diligence however the situation is that the state saved significant money by circumnavigating cleaner water and a cleaner water system. They circumnavigated the water coming from Lake Erie and opted for a local water channel that has been known for decades to be an absolute cesspool at the fact that they cut corners on chemicals and cleaning and it resulted in some of the most Gut wrenching affects the children and the citizens of Flint many of which are living in Impoverished conditions.
He knew about it and I believe orchestrated these moves to save the state money and was aware of the horrible affects it would cause.
