Is it just me or should people like Flynn and the my pillow guy be strongly looked down on from here on out? Flynn went on Alex Jones' show the day before the 6th and said he was 10 out of 10 certain that Trump would get a second term. To me that's literally insane. He didn't say it was a coin toss. He could've at least said he was 9 out of 10, leaving some room for 'the plan' (whatever the hell it was supposed to be) not working. But he said 10 out of 10.
It makes me wonder how a person with judgement that shitty even got to be a general in the first place, and that's scary to think about. He mentioned one possibility on the 6th being Pence does something that buys them 10 more days. But it was a big IF that Pence could've or would've pulled that off. Back before the 6th nobody knew what was going to happen, apparently not even Trump (as evidenced by his speech on the 6th). And even if he had done it, what's 10 more days? We had 60 days to flip ONE state, and still hadn't.
It seems really irresponsible of him to say that shit and get people's hopes up, to me. Unforgivably so. How could he have been so careless? He said things that just poured gas on the fire for people who are more and more detached from reality, living in a fantasy world that Trump uses the military or who knows what. It sucks that Biden is going to be inaugurated, but what's the point of getting people's hopes up for them to be dashed on the 20th?
Then AFTER the 6th and Pence just counted the Biden electors, Lindell makes a video still saying the same thing, Trump will still remain president. Does this guy like making money? Because what's going to happen after the 20th when everyone sees that he was selling false hope? What's going to happen to his business then? He could've just said 'we still support Trump and think the election was stolen" and he still would've sold pillows. I for one won't want to buy shit from that guy when it turns out he was essentially lying to everyone.
What explains these guys? I'm not even bringing Lin Wood into this because fuck that guy, he's not even worth talking about. But Flynn was a general and Lindell a popular businessman who was publicly known as a buddy to Trump. Why did these two lay so much on the line and sabotage their own images this way? Does anyone have any takes on this that could explain it? And have either of them said anything more recently admitting they were wrong?
i guess you don't remember how they said those statements? they didn't say it was a feeling. lindell claimed to be on his way to a meeting. he pretended to 'know something' we don't know and guaranteed us trump would remain. he didn't say 'maybe'. he said he knew. same with flynn, he said he was 10 out of 10.
you can't just easily dismiss that as feelings. they claimed to have inside info. if they really didn't, the only possible reality is they were lying.
If thwy did have inside information, they wouldn't be allowed to speak about it. If every knew, then it would be blocked. We have to wait and see what happens. I won't discredit them, until they speak again.
