Vote fraud currently uses several scenarios that are effective in most states now.
Time - in many states you can vote for weeks ahead of the election. They can see exactly what the turnout is and target people with door knocks as well as ballot harvest, ballot stuffing by registering dead people or fake people to an empty lot etc.
Mail in voting - similar to #1, there is lots of time to register bogus people, vote harvest etc. You can do 10 different frauds on these. Shred ballots from red zip codes, open envelopes and switch ballots, cure ballots etc.
Machines - at key locations like large cities, you can use the machines to switch ballots (machine is broken, just stick your Trump ballot in this lock box and we will scan it for you later! We promise!) or whoops, we have to adjudicate your ballot because it wont read in the scanner. etc
I don't understand why anonymity is so important. I can go look ANYONE up right now and see the party they are registered with and which party they selected to vote for in the primary election in my state.
Many other states have the same setup so I can look up anyone and know with decent certainty how they voted. I would be fine with having a voter ID number or something like that or just make it so my actual vote is not searchable by the public or available for download etc.
I hear ya. The more I thought about it, it's actually probably pretty easy. Every ballot gets a sticker with an ID number that you take home and can look up, same as tracking a package. Dispose of it once election is settled.
It's a tricky proposition since if you can track it digitally, you can change it digitally. And if YOU can change it digitally, ANYONE can change it digitally. Likely even before it hits a scanning machine.
That said I think we are done with the days of voting on blind faith. No one wants to follow the rules anymore so it's time to create a brand new system.
You already can track it, and then it gets removed from the envelope and then it can be replaced by a brand new ballot, shredded etc. There is no way to tie it back to the envelope.
If you vote by mail, it should not be a secret ballot. It should have a code on the actual ballot that is on your envelope so that it can be traced back. If you want a secret ballot, vote in person.
In fact, we should just not have any mail ballots.
My buddy in Pinal County, AZ says their system prints a unique id on the ballot which you can tear off and login with later to see how you voted (the actual choices you selected). Sounds like a good start.
Maricopa county i(where I live) s where the fraud was called out, and is by far, the largest County in AZ. They only let you see if your ballot was processed.
What I really want is to know how many people voted based on my address.
Due to the nature of the privacy of the vote and dealing with government this would seem imposable.. They were talking about giving voters a receipt that has their choices on it and a number that matches the ballot so you could look at what the machine recorded.. The real problem is the system of allowing the hidden hand to see who has not been marked off as voted on the registration roll so they can generate a bogus ballot and use that non voters info.. This is how some of the late fraud votes were gathered..

Seriously, I get a receipt when I pump my gas or buy a donut but I get nothing after I vote?
Nice idea but there's the anonymity issue. How to keep voting anonymous at the same time?

I agree that its a good start but it didn't prevent that state from being stolen for sure.

It’s possible. But they will NEVER do it. The entire system is run by corrupt people that were installed for a reason.
