This is very true. We moved to a small town a few years ago to escape a liberal city. It's definitely red, but one day my family and I went on a walk on a public trail and a 60-ish year old lady approached me. She told me I had a beautiful family and then chatted me up about moving here and within 2 minutes, unprovoked, told me this was a right-wing conservative Republican town, but don't worry, they're working to change that.
It was clear she was a raging white liberal mentally ill woman taking activist positions in our local government, something I've realized this year that so many of them do across America (public health trannies, etc.) -- while we mostly sit back and do nothing to get involved. She was quite proud of herself.
It's a side effect of the freaking welfare state and bullshit HR jobs that we've created an entire class of people with nothing better to do than try and burn our nation down.

I know. It's an unfortunate positive side effect of the mental ill deranged liberal---they are motivated to no end for their "cause."
