This is VERY important, but don't forget, get involved in local government. We need to really start attending local town halls. Start locking down your towns, get your cops on your side (sheriffs), make sure they stay that way. Be part of the system that can buffer against the federal government.
Unpopular opinion, but the local governments have a lot more power over your day to day life then you think. I live in a small town, and have for the most part been unaffected by Covid. No mask mandates, no businesses locked down that didn't want to lock down etc. It's been nice. My brother lives about 100 miles south in the closest big city and he comes up every chance he can to do simple things like shop at Lowes cause its 'normal' up here. This is all thanks to having a Governor that gave the towns the right to decide what they wanted to do and us having towns that did the right things. If you read, you'll also find towns that told governors to fly a kite on their covid restrictions and everything works well too. Local is how we start, give us a buffer.
Despite the air that they give off, the federal government can't be all places at all times, and have to work closely with local governments.
Virtually all local elections are non partisan. No political parties. City council, town board, school board, county board, etc. State rep is the first level where one needs to claim a party.

This should be reposted in every thread.
Run for local government positions. Push MAGA legislation. Be the change you want to see.
I know you’re right but how do we do that without the GOP, which I have completely lost faith in?
