Fun pro-tip... if you don’t have a high profile helmet like an Ops-Core and are stuck with an ACH, if you throw the nicer pads in there and move your head slightly down/out of it, it actually makes a really good sleeping support to rest your head in. Also an IOTV is pretty comfy to sleep in as well when laying on your back.
I think I used an MRE more than a handful of times as a pillow, same with my boots. I know I’ve used a rock before with a few tees stuffed in a stuff sack before as well.
The best though is bringing a hammock... anything you can to keep yourself and your gear dry is good enough for me. Also when flying to/from country, hammock tied up makes for a more comfortable flight than sitting for all of those hours.
That’s 1000% why they are there. Any other reason is a complete misread of the past 4 years. “Military there because trump supporters are so mad they’re gunna kill Biden” - MSM (or some shit)
Because he knows that there’s millions of pissed off patriots who will gladly die for him and if that was to happen he’d lose all credibility of the “law and order president”. He cares about how he will go down in history, and he doesn’t want to go down in history as the president who had to hold a whole new election with the military as the controlling body. Say what you will, and I love this man more than any other, but that’s not the hill he’s willing to die on. Until he says so, why would we think so?
This was an exciting opportunity to quarter the troops in private homes and violate the 3rd Amendment. I would think that they'd want the complete set.
So when was the last time the military had to camp out in the halls to prevent the publics grievances from being addressed?
Not sure, One America News stated last night that this is the first time since the Civil War where military troops area stationed in DC.
This is staged. They were told to lie down for a photo op.
Nobody in the fucking military just lies down and naps, they pull out a pad or sleep on their gear, anything except granite fucking floors.
eh... quite a few do. esp if they are just told to be somewhere and can't leave but have nothing to do.
um. excuse you. most of the day is spent napping in the military.
source: former marine.
my record for most naps in a single day is 8
So "naps" is what they're calling "boxes of crayons" now?
I slept on floors without a pad a number of times during my years in. A lot of people have.
Loved that you called out that it was staged. Thank You for Your Service ❣️🙃

They're there literally because of the FEMA order.. so the question becomes why did Trump issue a state of emergency?

The CBS TDW hit piece mentioned the Civil War
