Now, I'm not saying this is his plan, we have a pretty good chance of getting Biden. But hear me out.
On the 6th, I thought Trump invoking the IA was unfeasible due to the higher ranks being untrustworthy. They will simply refuse to mobilize and move their soldiers
But a few days after his supporters showed up to DC, 7k soldiers move in, now 30k? It's almost symbolic, the government fucked us over at the sight of a million civilians, and now Trump brings in the soldiers. The capitol is fenced off like a prison. Politicians are forced to walk the halls surrounded by heavily armed plebeians, that are not from DC. Since DC voted 90% dem, these soldiers are not for us.
Most of these low ranks are pissed off Trump supporters. The very people these aristocrat hate.
Here's the kicker, Trump can order these soldiers DIRECTLY, such as ordering captains or even Sgt. The Pentagon brass can no longer obstruct Trump. If the CiC orders 3 separate LT's to arrest X, what could a traitor general even do? Wave a magic wand to teleport the units out of DC?
The soldiers are also taken from different states (DC troops and officers are far more likely to be compromised).
Ignoring the noise, videos, media etc. Trump has the traitors in a checkmate position right now. Again, this was not the case last week. He had zero soldiers in DC last week. Not once in history has a CiC had such a strong hand. If he invokes the IA, he cannot be stopped or obstructed.
I hope this is our POTUS's plan, I'm still preparing for Biden winning. But Trump has the absolute winning hand.
But does he have the guts? Or will he take a deal and sit on this?
He didn't want to have to go this route, he wanted a legal peaceful solution. He wanted Biden to concede, maybe he still does. Maybe he has set up the checkmate but is hesitant on moving. Maybe he wakes up everyday asking if he should.
Pray that he has the courage to do this.
For sure.... POTUS has moves he can make. Any frustration seen from supporters, at him, is due to what seems like him NOT taking all the courses of action he has available.
He's earned my trust till the very end of term..purely on the entertainment value of the past 5 years or so, not to mention the mountain of other good things he has accomplished.
human trafficking is top of my list.
so much this! I trust President to keep his word about these child sacrificing demons.
"Save the children"
Same. Unlicensed drivers from Mexico keep hitting me on the road
A lot of people don't understand as well. What happens if a bunch of good shit was released on the 5th? Nancy and all would come in and 'save the day', then undermine Trump or otherwise try to get him out.
Now, they can't do shit. If he pulls this off, they're in so fucking deep on really bad stuff that all the anklebiters and coup plotters from the past four years are all gone.
If Trump moved to early, Pence would still be his VP, and he gets JFK'ed in a few months.
He needed to see Pence betraying him.
Or to convince us that it was justified to remove Pence. Perhaps we needed to see him do the betrayal. Or the enemy needed to see him look like he betrayed.
Still, I am uncertain whether it is a betrayal or not, but it looked like one to us. I've thought about other possible outcomes, and I'm uncertain Pence could have done much good anyways.
Perhaps a reverse double cross when he didn’t follow through on the 25th.
Great post.
I'll just leave this here.

The fucking powder keg of pressure this last week has blown chunks of gray matter out of my skull. He better make it worth it, that hole in my head makes my brain feel cold.
I think the way it usually works is everything you're saying is true, but the players meet behind closed doors (in the "backroom") and make deal. Trump shows his cards, shows how the troops are going to flip, and then...
...you see an article on cnn that says that the capital event was planned by outsiders and not Trump.
That to me speaks to me as backroom leverage.
