They can make a state law all they want, because when presenting the electoral results and any certifications to the fed for theor votes to count nationally, they follow federal law and must disclose any audit data.

I get the whole idea that some states want to use sovereignty as a crutch, but it should be illegal to outright hinder the rest of the federation with local laws. Illegal as in 'You can't participate or benefit by the federation or federal funding until this is rectified' kind of illegal.

It’s not illegal if every judge in the state refuses to see it that way.
