They'll push and push until a handful of people break and start shooting, at which point those handful of people which were too few to accomplish anything at all are used as an excuse to eliminate second amendment rights. And they'll accomplish this gradually, the same as they've done everything else, so that by the time the last hold outs are forced to surrender their guns, there won't be enough of anything to resist them.
