My thoughts are that there are two reasons for the heavy presence of NG. One is to ward off any possibility of attack from the Chinese. Trump would never admit this is a possibility but his recent EOs and their attack biologic and cyber means we are at war. Hence the heavy naval presence on our coasts. The second, I believe Trump will do something prevent Biden coming in and DC is gonna need protecting from pantifa and burn, loot, murder
