I mean, we could talk about proper forest management to ensure a healthy tree density (like the tree density in Colorado should NOT be what it is in Washington) otherwise you'll end up in a situation where the entire forest will weaken and become susceptible to a pine beetle that will cause it to die en masse and turn to tinder leaving the wood fit for only mulch.
I somehow don't think the ecofreaks would ever be able to grasp that concept....
Just going to result in more fire restrictions that end up keeping people from using public land for target practice. Fire restrictions are the only thing they will do because it doesn't cost them anything, and they just have to have an intern type up the order.
