I’ve never followed nascar but always assume a majority of their viewership is white. Am I wrong?

Because America is mostly white, you are exactly correct.

When I was coming up, cars were a unifying thing. Everybody watched NASCAR, everybody worked on their cars in the front driveways. Everybody. Black, white, didn't make a difference, you had a car, you washed it and worked on it.

And everyone admired the beautiful ride when it was done, too.

Used to be like sports. Now, it's just like sports.

Always has been. Like many American companies, they have their eyes on a broader, global market, and don't mind if they piss off a relative handful of fans. If they continue down this road, I'm guessing NASCAR will just be a competition to see who can get the best mileage in their Prius while driving to Whole Foods and back.

Honestly, if there are discrimination laws related to emplopyment, HOW IS THIS FUCKING LEGAL TO SAY "NO WHITES, PLEASE"
