The commies invested the Comic Book industry years ago - all the good artist/writers have gone indie and the only ones left in the halls of Marvel/DC are there to completely destroy what is left from any successful properties.
Sci fi has always been slightly communist. One of the deep premises of most sci fi is that if you go far enough in the future, robots do all the work and people live a life of unending luxury without ever having to lift a finger.
Doctor Doom taking over Battleworld in 2015's Secret Wars can be said to be a covert end to Marvel's history as we know it (the writers essentially realizing that the Disney and SJW acquisition was going to destroy the whole ship), capping it off as a finale where Doctor Doom gets a finish to his arc.

Same with sci-fi.
