I loved it when the media made fun of him for giving that college football team mcdonalds. I fucking lived off mcdonald's and taco bell in college.

By the way, I still eat mcdonald's maybe once every week or two. If Trump does it, it's good enough for me. Calories are calories.

No, the government was in a shutdown at the time, arguing over the border wall funding, so there was not enough White House staff to make food for the guests of the President. So he ordered a bunch of McDonald's and Burger King and served that instead.
First thing my brother did when he got back from Iraq was hit taco bell and waffle house. Young dudes don't give a shit about expensive food they want what they grew up on.
I used to lovr Jim Gaffigan, he's dead to me now, but be had a good point about McDonald's. Nobody likes to admit they eat at McDonald's, yet every time I drive by one, it's usually pretty packed. They sell like a billion burgers a day, somebody is eating them.
