I don’t hate Muslims because I’ve talked to a lot of Muslims and ex-Muslims so I know everything going on and know everyone isn’t backward. Islam has issues though, but a combination of modernist Muslims and ex-Muslims will eventually address the traditional exegesis that was originally intended to support Abbasid imperialism and not modern day conditions. This is already happening and going on now but it’s slow and hard to get the extreme taqlid traditionalist types at al-Azhar to admit that maybe medieval stuff can’t continue to work forever.
