If the Dems move forward with impeachment after Trumps term is up, doesn’t that give Republicans precedent to impeach Obama based on Obamagate when they get power back in 2022?

Can't impeach if you don't hold the House.
No. Democrats do not have to play by the same rules. pffffft everyone knows that.
Republicans don't care that Trump was spied on.
Yes sir. Without a doubt. But if they drop is damning enough he should be able to be charged with impeachment since he is not in office.
You can't be impeached of you are a citizen. You can only be impeached from the position you currently hold.
I think technically you could impeach a former president, but its only worthwhile for a 1 term president so they can never hold office again. Obama should probably be brought up on federal charges instead.
Probably
Yes.
I've got some bad news for you anon
They won't because they're the same thing
If Republicans had balls you mean?
Won't it be fun if Trump's term isn't up? You won't believe how many impeachments this bad boy will hold.
well we all know you can only impeach a sitting president. But I feel we should be able to refuse his presidential pension and title. to no longer receive financial support for his term or terms in office, and his title to be stripped as well. #governmentsalaryreform
Impeachment is a vehicle to “bring charges” with the intent to remove the President from office... why would they try to remove Obama from office???
They could bring suit against him in civil and criminal court though, they’ve been able to do that for 4 years!
But, these people liked Obama, and MAGA has not bled into the orgs that are supposed to uphold equal justice!
