It would be great to have the website itself take links posted to twitter and run them through one of the archive sites and change the link to that instead.
It can't be that hard to write up some kind of filter for it.
Same for facebook etc. Cut off their traffic at the root so that users here can see the information without any traffic being driven to their websites.
