This is some next-fucking-level bullshit. I write fantasy novels with literal magic, and I think those stories are more down-to-earth and realistic than this. In fact, I think whoever came up with this should write a novel about it. Hell, I'd read it since fantasy is my favorite genre.

Any fantasy book recommendations?

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want something easy to read, anything by Brandon Sanderson is good. He puts out books faster than any other fantasy author I can think of, and is particularly good at designing interesting magical systems. His Mistborn series is a good place to start, but be aware it moves in the fourth book from strict fantasy to an odd (but still great) sort of "Wild West Fantasy" to include guns. The Stormlight Archive is also phenomenal.

If you really want to read some hardcore shit, though, I'd recommend Malazan Book of the Fallen. We're talking a story that spans thousands of years with a vast number characters. But for those with the tenacity to push on, the series amounts to, in my opinion, one of the greatest stories ever told in fantasy.

Actually, this guy is right about the status and dates etc. I never heard the London thing personally but everything else is a matter of record. I don't know that Prez would necessarily go there, but it's a possibility after what I believe he's going to do on 1/20.

This isn’t even a good LARP.

“I don’t know how all of this works but here’s a random thing that’s going to happen, trust me.”

I think this is real. Not to dumb it down but think about mcdonalds. It started as a food chain with franchises. Until someone came up with a plan to own the land they were built on a name the corporation MCDONALDS. Now, the food chain doesn't exist and MCDONALDS Corp is one of the largest land owners in the world. DC is not a part of the United States, hence no statehood. Our politicians don't work for we the people. They work for global entities

This is such unbelievable horse shit.

Corporations, and specifically Crown Corporations, are a matter of public record.

If the United States was a corporation owned by the British that'd be abundantly fucking clear. Britain's an irrelevant tiny rock that controls nothing.

You are terribly uninformed. Don’t know if the above image is true or not but the Queen of GB literally controls the most land in the world. As the Monarch of the UK & the Commonwealth, HRH Queen Elizabeth reigns over 6.6Bn Acres, including, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Canada & Australia. I wouldn’t say that power is a tiny rock controlling nothing.

And how does ownership of Crown Land equate to 'owning the entire of the fucking US via a corporation'?

Crown Land is simply treated as public property and beyond theoretical ownership, British law and the Queen have no authority over it. Canadian Crown Land is controlled by the Canadian government in practice.

So yay for England I guess. It owns undeveloped wasteland in its' former colonies. So powerful. Much influence.

I stand by my statement, irrelevant fucking rock. I've lived there, trust me, they couldn't organize a piss up in a fucking vodka factory.

Sigh. I literally said don’t know if the above image is true or not. Was merely stating that the mass ownership of land is held by the queen of GB. Who knows what she could do with it if she wanted to do something with it. You don’t. I don’t. But it helps add to her massive net worthy Handshake accounts have ruined this place.

Well you called me uninformed as if I don't know what Crown Land is. I do, I just don't see it as a source of significant power or wealth for her.

You know what happens when they sell Canadian Crown Land? You know who gets the money? That's right bucko the Canadian Government. The queen, in practice, has absolutely no economic interest in that land. Nor does she have any authority to use it. So, it's like buying an asteroid in space. You own it in theory but it's fucking useless to you.

Also sorry for the arbitrary date I found this site I guess?

If it’s worthless as you say, why doesn’t she get rid of it? Also, you don’t see it as a source of significant wealth? Are you her accountant? Seriously no one hangs onto a bad investment or one that has no value. There’s absolutely a reason she’s holding onto it, even if it isn’t apparent to others. Why are you so angry over this? Lol.
