I'm not trying to be debbie downer here. I just want you to understand that the 'active' police and military will get fed. And somebody that is being fed does not way to be on the side of the people that aren't.

IMHO they are running down the clock simply by letting people inject themselves with false hope. I voted Trump. Like many I thought the country was going in the right direction and I really had hope for our nation under his leadership.

The problem with this is that here in America every soldier is a volunteer and has family they care about. Other nations military especially in dictator nations are typically conscripts pulled from the lowest dregs of their society and become completely dependent upon the state and lose all ties to any family. Not trying to put on the rose colored glasses but I think if biden tries to use the military against civilians it will completely backfire. Everything I have seen come from the joint chiefs has been to keep the military as neutral in this crisis as possible and I don't really see that changing.
