Yep. My mother owned a small business for a few years and was pretty successful with it. If the minimum wage had been raised to $15 it would have absolutely crushed her business. I dont get how people dont understand this. It just baffles me.
There is a large group that don't want to understand anything more than "I don't make as much as I want, so I deserve more." They don't want to better themselves to get that, they don't want to work harder, they just want it handed to them. The consequences don't matter to them because they only care about the immediate moment. They'll complain when everything costs more and they have less actual buying power and demand even more money, never realizing that all they're doing is demanding themselves into a worse situation.
Why do you think we didn't let everyone vote originally and only gave that privilege to the people that understood responsibility and consequences?

The even worse part is there are many more bubbles ready to burst and communists don't care to even try and smooth over what's going to happen like Trump was trying to because it means an opportunity to seize even more control.

Frankly, I have everything I need already, although I would need to eventually work out some form of hydro-electric power long term because I only have enough fuel for 3 or 4 years on the gen. Closest big city is about 650 miles away and I'm not near any military bases so I'm not likely to get nuked if that's what the SHTF moment actually turns out to be. My plan is to watch the Lefties in the cities eat each other within the first month or so then help survivors build something out of what's left. In Minecraft, of course.
