It hasn't been demonstrated to me that entering the Capitol Building is a crime. Walking into a building, especially a federal building, and even more especially the seat of our democracy, is not an act of terror. Those doors should always be open. The American people should always be welcome to observe the process of self-governance.
Obviously some things that happened there were illegal. Whoever broke windows, lit fires, vandalized, put them in jail. But the rest of the people did nothing wrong that I can see.
