Pretty sure this is covered by don’t be a smug, wanna-be ‘lawyer’, asshole in the process. If they are assholes they may provoke you a bit to get a response, but don’t bite. Most cops are OK, and it never hurts to be as polite as possible.

Cops will lie to you over the most trivial of shit to try to get you to confess.

Years ago when I was a kid I was accused of .. harassing phone calls or something, I don't even remember all the details, but the cop lied to my face saying my other friend had admitted we did it and I should confess now to make it easier on me. I basically laughed at him and told him he was full of shit. And I was right, eventually he left and nothing ever came of it.

There was a cop parked in front of my house most days, catching people who ran the stopsign beside my house..

One day I asked him if he thought Epstein killed himself.

He hasn't been policing my stop sign since.

If you're going to get arrested and you have to talk to a cop, might as well red pill them. Ask them why they're defending pedophiles and communists. Get it on record.

Same in the US, never ever say a word to police, no matter what bullshit they tell or promise you, there is absolutely no benefit to you.

10
TheBasedZodiac 10 points ago +13 / -3

It’s nice to see the right coming around and realizing the police are corrupt scumbags. About damn time. It was around 12 years ago us on the right absolutely hated the police not sure what happened that made most of the right boot licking establishment proud clowns but I hope you know that sentiment towards police likely hurt us this election. Fuck the police. Back the blue is a fucking joke and you should feel bad about it.

2
desertdan 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is not so nice seing the left embrace any and every war and bombing third world villagers everywhere and for no reason. What happened to your principles? Did they ever exist? Is “Napalm Sticks to Kids” your new motto? Millions dead because of you. Feel bad yet?

Lovely, highly highly proficient speaker. I thought I had my speed set ot 1.25 of 1.5 times from the last itme I watched this video.

I completely agree with literally everything he says, even though I am not an American. I'm a Dutchman.

I've for a long time voted on a party called "the pirate party". Many of their views align closely with what is said here. But essetially when it comes to privacy the argument "I have nothing to hide" when people defend new laws... is wrong.

It's wrong on the very same note that it's stupid to talk to police. Same concept, but your choice to not talk is gone.

This is why privacy matters, think thrice before you use things like Twitter, Facebook, even Google for navigation and such when they have terrible policies.

22
VoteCyborgTrump2040 22 points ago +22 / -0

TLDR of why you shouldn't talk to police, even if you're innocent, since you probably won't watch this whole video:

Interrogators want a confession from you most of all, but what they actually shoot for is just to get you to answer questions. Once you are locked in to these answers, it limits your options for defense, and if you fuck up at all or they find evidence that suggests inconsistency with the answers you gave, then that will destroy your credibility, especially in the eyes of a jury. If you don't think that an innocent person will misremember things, or give answers that are inconsistent with evidence, you are wrong. They do it all the time.

1
unashamed 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even better, he explains that what you say will not be used to help you, even if exculpatory. It will only be used *against * you.

3
MAGA_Flocka_Flame 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you don't think that an innocent person will misremember things, or give answers that are inconsistent with evidence, you are wrong

Indeed, even telling someone as innocuous as “I went to the store then went to the post office” then tripping up later and saying “I went to the post office then went to the store” is an inconsistency and WILL be used against you

5
4moreyears 5 points ago +5 / -0

I didn't even watch the video, so I'm happy I did a good job. I just watch a lot of this kind of stuff. JCS Criminal Psychology on YouTube, among other interrogation videos. I don't know the exact psychological basis of every interrogation tactic, but it becomes obvious what they're trying to do.

I know some police officers and criminal attorneys. The all have said "never talk to the police".

19
panic86 19 points ago +20 / -1

I spent several years in federal prison and then on supervised release. The following is one of my many experiences with attorneys A federal grand jury had been investigating us. One of my soon-to-be- co-defendants and I pooled our money to meet with a local respected criminal defense attorney. My co-defendant handed the cash retainer to the attorney. The three of us spoke together that day. Both of us had later phone conversations with the attorney. Eventually my co-defendant turned on me and wore a wire on me based on advice from this same attorney. My last call with the attorney was when he told me he represented my co-defendant and not me because my co-defendant was the one who handed him the money. So, my advice is hire your own attorney and make sure you have a signed contract with him stating he is representing you.

19
Mooma 19 points ago +19 / -0

Prosecutors no longer look for the real criminal, they look to "make a case" and then let the jury decide. Oh, and they have unlimited funds, and the more guiltys they get, the better it is for their careers. Prosecutorial misconduct is a concept of the past. The truth has become the enemy if the prosecutor. Just as a lawyer doesn't care if his client committed a crime, his job is to get him out, the prosecutor doesn't care if you didn't commit a crime, his job is to get a conviction. The cops work for the prosecutors, not the people.

1
RachetQueen2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

On the other side, it is hell as a victim getting justice. Having to have your foot on the police and prosecutor's neck to get them moving. I am so cynical now of anything related to the "justice" system.

6
VetforTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

Shit most of them make the cops win the case for them. Ours nly took slam dunk cases.

Some day ask for a prosecutors 1040 audit on their cases. Yes 1040 audit. IRS. It would be eye ope ining for many to see how judges and prosecutors earn. Cali has a class action law suit in Monterey that bound the divorce court judges zmd prosecutors because they Make money from the man when they are divorce. How does it work.

Well California gets federal money for paying child support to mothers. Then they collect 49 percent from the ex husband. Do they pY back the feds? Nope, the judges and prosecutors get bonuses from it. This is a federal case. The 1040s are being audited. If our can find the person who put the cSe together and are getting h divorced, join the Law suit Nd your case will be frozen and they can't get your money until the Federal courts hear the case. Just watched the guy serve the court from the court video. It was really amazing what this guy did.

1
NJSKYPILOT 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good to see someone on .win talk about the dangers of divorce. The family courts are completely corrupt. I was destroyed financially, mentally, and spiritually by the NJ family courts. Title IV D of the social security act incentivises courts to go after people who are behind on their child support and alimony. CA is widely considered the most corrupt family court system in the United States. Factoid: the most punishing family courts are mostly in Democrat controlled states.

5
kman_kman_kman 5 points ago +5 / -0

I love how this title says 'has a job to incriminate you' instead of cutting through the crap and saying 'police' even though every slide on this video is with reference to talking to police - i guess the fear of not sounding like one's enemies is real! But regardless, it is so beautiful to finally see some acknowledgement on here that LE has issues as it is, in this nation, no matter what the path to get here was. There seems to be some hope for unity after all!

2
MAGA_Flocka_Flame 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because sometimes it’s not just police and the line doesn’t just stop there,

It can be other investigative agents as well

It can be lawyers who are not being paid by you

Even though they are not police, if they have something to gain by you being in trouble or arrested or incriminated: WATCH YOUR ASS

4
Libertas_Vel_Mors 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't think it's that the police have "issues" per se, but that it is instead the very nature of the beast.

The job of the police is to confirm that you're the guy they're after in order to administer what the authorities consider to be justice. Your job is to not give them that confirmation, especially if you're innocent. If you're guilty, you obviously and already know this, but far too many people who are innocent have no clue.

We have, and have always had, an adversarial judicial system. Most people think it starts in the courtroom, but no, it starts the moment a police officer, investigator, detective, or other officer of the law wants to talk to you.

You are delusional.

This video could have been of some value a while ago, but that is not how political terror works.

Under the communists, your silence is the admission of guilt. Your silence, demanding your 5th amendment rights, is a demonstration that you are a constitutionalist.

You have missed the memo. In these days they demand active worship of communism.

The only method is to avoid physical contact or be to refuse to be in environment around the communists.

14
freeamerica4ever 14 points ago +14 / -0

I think the days of law enforcement applying law equally or following the law is over. The Democrat propaganda machine has told all the normies we are unstable scum and they need to protect themselves from us. We are the Jews in early Nazi Germany. How did law enforcement treat the Jews? Try this if you are arrested, sure, but much better to escape notice at all for now.

4

YES. People don't realize that cops can lie to you with impunity. They want you to get upset and irrational. Anything you say or do is on the record and presented as evidence in court. It is of no useful defense for you to call out your interrogator for lying or coercion. There's not proof and moreover, it's legal. STFU - Say nothing.

4
Nobrakesmike 4 points ago +5 / -1 (edited)

If they have too much time on their hands you are still getting jammed up and they play sociopath games to get you to talk. I told them they couldn't search my car and I wouldn't be answering questions. So Sparky the magic Drug K-9 was called. And guess what? Just like I knew Sparky hit on the car. Sparky always hits cause K9s are a scam and our friends the courts know it. Now if the dog would go to court and say what he noticed I'd allow it. Nothing was ever in the car. The K9 looked like he needed to be be retired sometime ago btw. I'm no vet but owned enough dogs to notice arthritis in them. Amazing we spend 16000-25000 to send this guy back to K9 academy two states away.

So we went through this stupid search. At the end I was asked where I got off not letting them search and was told I must not understand their job and wasted their time. I was also informed my Constitution rights and 50 cent will buy a cup of coffee. Heard the same 30 years earlier. This is what you are often dealing with. They work for the government with little to no oversight. Not your secret stranger friend.

Cops are thugs here. So perhaps they tell you to have a nice day when invoking rights in Arizona or a cool part of Florida but that doesn't work in most places and makes redneck cops REALLY angry. I know, I've done two dozen ride alongs. My best friend was a cop.

Yes it's good not to incriminate oneself but I also have a suspicion they would have thrown something in the car had my name not weirded them out. I have the exact name of a powerful attorney one town over. I'm not related to him but often get a whoa! when they look at my ID at the frequent, stupid checkpoints. I even get it from the general public from normie store clerks to college professors in the day. Are you _____ son? No. The K9 guy tensed up after seeing the ID and had a conference with the rookie that initiated the stop. I'm almost certain he said this dude is related to that law firm and were clearly fishing.

So they played their old tired card and busted out the ticket book saying rookie could give you a ticket NOW! First I didn't do anything wrong, second this is what these idiots do. Go around acting like 150 bucks will ruin peoples' lives. I'm a thousand times more upset about the illegal search than I would be a false ticket but they wanted an out. I let them have it cause 150 bucks means nothing to me but I don't want to get on the wrong side of four really dumb rednecks who will believe for 40 to 50 years of their little fine is dire straights to everyone they encountered, plus the government steals enough.

Oh and this stupid incident took four cops on a 1AM Tuesday and I was told they have better things to do than mess with me. They don't. Again, I'd done probably 100 hours of ride-alongs with a friend that didn't have his guard up. I know what the do. Hell I'd know what they do without that experience. It's not a big mystery what goes on unless you fool yourself with good government BS. Cop buddy loved to say he gets paid the exact same amount if he arrest someone or not. He was very lazy and today is a fed. Kid you not.

Anyway, yeah don't talk to cops, They aren't your secret buddy but so you know that isn't kryptonite. They send people to jail for made up stuff all the time. Invoking rights often makes these guys go into clown world mode, you see it. They don't and the local courts probably won't either. Judges here are often retired cops. (One just won a bench here) Cause dumb people vote for them. Same dumb people will be on a every jury.
