I am in the employer mandated boat. I have refused almost all overtime since masks became mandated it is simply not worth it.

Then you have all the Karenโ€™s out there saying โ€œitโ€™s just wearing a mask for 30 minutes while you do your grocery shoppingโ€ because they canโ€™t think past the fact that millions of people are stuck wearing those all day at work for hours on end and that just 30 minutes turns into nine hours a day or longer.

Oh yeah, tons of selfish people who only think of themselves. When I hear of anyone who says that they want more lockdowns to eliminate the virus I say that this person is so selfish that they live in their little bubble and they don't realize how these actions harm others. Masks are the same. Sure, 30 minutes of wearing a mask to shop isn't too big of a deal, but what about the person who's behind the counter and needs to wear it all day? They don't think about that.

Exactly. Those people really live in their own bubble of what they feel makes them safe. For example, more lockdowns. We saw from the first two weeks which turned into 6 to 8 weeks of nonessential businesses being shuttered in my state and how it Make little to no difference in Covidh spreading. However, that act made them feel safe like something was being done and that is all they cared about. The business is permanently closed, the employees who lost their jobs, lost life savings, etc. that didnโ€™t matter to them because that restaurant being closed for two months made them feel safe.
