Wrong. Almost NONE of them stood with the President to object to the Electors. So many state legislators have a GOP majority, and yet allowed that Biden ABORTION to get certified in their states. We would be celebrating Trump's LANDSLIDE VICTORY right now if not for them. And for the last 4 years, Trump had to fight the damn party for every historic feat he accomplished. It's NOT just a few RINOs. That's just the cover story. There are VERY few MAGA GOP politicians, because we don't WANT politicians. Trump isn't one, which is why WE chose him to lead the movement. He didn't create us. We were already here, and he stepped into the role of our leader. But we aren't going away. The GOP might, but we are here to stay.
The people who vote in the GOP are based. The people who control the political structure are not. We need to take control from them. Cutting off donations is a good start. A good second step is taking our involvement beyond just voting and cutting checks, but playing active role in the inner-politics of the GOP, getting more based candidates on tickets, and appointing more based people to leadership positions. Change the GOP from the inside.
Or we could have Trump go all Nigel Farage and start a new party, which would destroy the GOP from the outside. Either way, we get a party cleansed of the democrats in elephant clothing.

A lot of Christian Conservatives were Chick filets base too, but that didn't stop them from defunding the Salvation Army. They controlled the purse strings and wanted to expand into some Liberal cities, so fuck the base! The Brexit party won the largest share of the UK national vote four months after it's foundation because the Tories refused to carry out the will of their base. Sorry but I just don't think the GOP is gonna change just because we're mad at them. They think we have no alternative and will forget in a couple of months. No, it was literally set up to NOT be run by parties. It's just that a two party system is the natural order of things in a Republic. The Founding Fathers fought to prevent party politics, but it was one thing even they could not prevent.
In fact, originally, the President and Vice President were NOT on the same ticket. Originally the 2nd place winner became Vice President. John Adams ran against Washington, but became his VP.
