watched WEF video on "what is the fourth industrial revolution" - i almost went full AJ on the prof's ass but i decided to hold my tongue

then we moved onto implicit bias and discrimination now we are talking about multiculturalism and social justice

i haven't paid my tuition yet this term and i seriously might drop out. this is abuse.

Altering the human genome is something that will inevitably happen and that can't be stopped. If it's going to happen then you will want to maintain a moral standard. You don't want to be caught with your head in the sand and Christianity has the right to pitch in on how the ethics of human genetic engineering evolves.

China is working on this. They were genetically engineering babies to be immune to HIV or at least trying. Then some time later they released SARS-CoV-2 (they have the technology now to create viruses and pandemics).

They pretty much have an end game solution. China also has no moral qualms for example cloning its best scientists.

I doubt your course deals with these problems though.

i agree with you and i'm not stuck in any hole but the "what is the four year industrial revolution" seemed like an inappropriate video to play in a psychology class and anybody in that class who heard any of the WEF communists saying their goal is to "promote diversity of thought to eventually lead to a more globally equitable society" and not hear "BULLSHIT" frankly shouldn't be in a psychology masters program.

I wrote this one for you as I don't really like writing stuff unless I feel at least one person appreciates it. It is a true story based on a real experience that might open your mind about psychology.

You can do a lot of good in psychology (in theory, it's not supposed to be what it is which is the reverse, it does more psychological damage than anything else) as I've probably shown you at this point but if you have the wrong professor you can do even more harm than good.

Psychology is like a drop of water in a vacuum. Smart people know to be very careful. If you dip even your toe in the water it'll turn into an indecipherable flurry and a blur of chaos like two mice fighting. It is so easily affected and yet often impenetrable.

You could stay in psychology and try to turn it into what it's supposed to be or bail. Either way difficult choice. Most people just take the path of least resistance.

Your professor should inspire you to realise there's a whole new level and he should share his tricks rather than being like a magician. His true influence should not come from his position in the pulpit but what he has to say.

If your professor doesn't make you think wow, is this person even human then he's shit. If he does do that, then he might also be shit.
