I’m not very good at this shit but here goes:

Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. I ask of you tonight to help us all find clarity. To find calm. To heed President Trumps words, to stay home and stay safe.

Though these times are trying, I ask that you help us see the path, to lift up our spirits and push on through the dark anxiety, to ignore the distractions.

We are your people, one people, under the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. More than ever we need your help. I know and understand that we must be your instruments. So, let us be. If President Trump is your messenger, please let us give him strength in our resolve, let us give strength to those that need it.

Please help us to remember our humanity, your teachings and what it means to be American. Let us not be blinded by hate, so we may save as many from evil as we can.

For those who do not have faith in your existence, help them to see the sound logic of your teachings.

May we all serve your cause, be it honourable, to save the Republic. Thank you for hearing this prayer.
